Durben Reunion 2015

Nothing to report yet on the 2015 Durben Reunion and it’s getting late for people to plan their vacations. It’s been a tradition for at least 30 to 35 years. Sure hope we didn’t see the last one in 2014…

One of the coldest winters on record, at least the sun was shining all day today but there’s nothing melting yet.

Winter Came Early This Year

It’s been some time since my last post. It’s winter already. The people are driving on Shawano Lake for about 4 or 5 days now with cars and trucks.  I’ll wait for some more ice.

A Day at the Races–Fire On Ice 2014

Fire On Ice car racing is back on Shawano Lake again this year. In fact it was a little yearly this year because of the exceptionally cold weather we’ve been having. They normally race from about 1:00 to 3:00 PM or so.

Mona and I spent about 45 minutes there last Sunday and this is one of the clips I caught with my camera.

NOTICE for the 2014 PAUL & NORA DURBEN FAMILY REUNION

We’ve been advised that the date for the Annual Paul and Nora Durben Family Reunion has been set.

Eugene, Milo and Joy have been volunteered to host the reunion this year and they have come up with the following arrangements.
