2016 Paul and Nora Durben Family Reunion

Reminder...the Paul and Nora Durben reunion is fast approaching. Saturday, June 25th at. W5641 Michelle Way, Appleton. The breasted chicken will be ready at noon. Bring a dish to pass and your own beverages. Reconnect with relatives...meet the newest members of the family and those newly married. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

2015 Durben Reunion Date Set–June 28th @ St. Nazianz

I just received a facebook message last night from Kate Van Gompel regarding the date of the 2015 Durben Reunion.

See below:

Durben Family Reunion is going to be June 28, 2015 at St. Nazianz park. Shelter TBA when we get the forms. It starts noon till 4. We will have the main dish. Bring a dish to pass and your own meat, drinks, plates, and silverware. Grill will be available. Pass the word to any Durben you know. See you there.

Durben Reunion 2015

Nothing to report yet on the 2015 Durben Reunion and it’s getting late for people to plan their vacations. It’s been a tradition for at least 30 to 35 years. Sure hope we didn’t see the last one in 2014…

One of the coldest winters on record, at least the sun was shining all day today but there’s nothing melting yet.

Winter Came Early This Year

It’s been some time since my last post. It’s winter already. The people are driving on Shawano Lake for about 4 or 5 days now with cars and trucks.  I’ll wait for some more ice.
